Useful, but pricing is steep

We've been using ZoomInfo for a few months, mainly for their Company Database and Intent Data. The quality of the data is generally high, and the intent signals are genuinely useful for identifying active buyers. It definitely helps our sales team prioritize their outreach. My main gripe is the cost; it's a significant investment, especially for smaller teams. While the platform performs well, I wish there were more flexible pricing tiers or clearer options for scaling down features without such a large price jump. It's a powerful tool, but the value proposition could be improved on the cost side.

Solid platform, good support

I signed up for a demo of SalesOS and then proceeded with an annual plan for my team. The onboarding process was smooth, and the sales rep was very helpful in explaining all the features. Delivery of access credentials was immediate after the contract was finalized. We primarily use the Contact Database and Lead Enrichment tools. The data accuracy has been impressive for our target market. Occasionally, a contact might be outdated, but that's expected with B2B data. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about integrating with our CRM. Overall, a comprehensive tool that does what it promises.

Good data, easy to use

I used the Contact Database for a project. Found what I needed quickly. The interface was straightforward. Data quality was solid. Saved me time. Worth checking out for lead generation.

Got a free trial, worked out well

I was looking for some new leads and saw they had a free trial, so I gave it a shot. It was pretty easy to get started. I mostly played around with the List Building feature. Found some good prospects in there. The info seemed pretty current for most of them. It felt pretty intuitive to navigate around. Definitely made my life a bit easier that week.

So happy with Sales Intelligence!

I can't believe how much time the Sales Intelligence platform saved our team. The B2B data is just incredible, and the intent signals helped us target accounts so much better. We closed more deals this quarter because of it. I will definitely be using this again and telling everyone about it!

thinking about getting ZoomInfo for my sales team. is it really that much better than LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

D David 1 month ago
It's different. Sales Nav is great for finding people and building relationships, but ZoomInfo gives you direct contact info and intent data that Sales Nav just doesn't have. They complement each other, really.

ZoomInfo is definitely more focused on direct contact info and robust company data for outreach, while Sales Navigator is more for social selling and relationship building. If you need phone numbers and emails fast, ZoomInfo wins.

wondering how the pricing works for ZoomInfo. do they do monthly or is it all annual subscriptions?

D David 3 weeks ago
From what I remember, it's mostly annual. They really push for those longer contracts.

Pretty sure they don't do monthly billing. It's usually annual contracts, and you negotiate with a sales rep for the best deal, especially if you're looking at multiple years or seats.

how does ZoomInfo handle student or academic discounts? my university might be interested.

T Tara Carter 1 month ago
They do offer academic pricing, yeah. You'd need to get in touch with their sales team to figure out the specifics for your university.

C Carly Osei 1 month ago
I know they have an academic program. It's not advertised heavily, so you'll definitely need to reach out directly to their sales department and explain your situation to see what they can offer.

how accurate is the contact info on ZoomInfo? trying to decide between them and Apollo.io

J June 3 weeks ago
It's pretty good, honestly. Better than most. I still scrub my lists, but their direct dials are usually solid.

D David Kim 3 weeks ago
I've used both. ZoomInfo's data, especially for larger companies, feels more up-to-date than Apollo sometimes. But Apollo is usually cheaper for individual users. Depends on your budget and target market, I guess.

are there ever any promo codes or coupons for ZoomInfo? haven't seen any around.

R Rachel 1 month ago
Nah, don't waste your time looking for coupon codes. They don't do that kind of thing. Discounts are through sales reps or specific programs, not checkout codes.

C Cleo Y. 1 month ago
You won't find a promo code for ZoomInfo. Any 'discount' you get is negotiated directly with their sales team, usually for annual plans or if you qualify for a specific program like startup or non-profit.

does ZoomInfo integrate with Salesforce easily? that's a big one for my team.

T Todd Kim 2 weeks ago
It integrates really well with Salesforce. We use it for lead enrichment and finding contacts directly in our CRM. It's a key feature for sure.

C Chris Q. 2 weeks ago
Yes, absolutely. Their Salesforce integration is one of the main reasons we chose them. Super smooth.

any deals around year-end or Q1 for ZoomInfo? trying to time a purchase.

E Emma Vargas 3 weeks ago
Q4 year-end and Q1 budget season are usually good times to talk to their sales team. They're often more flexible with pricing then.
2
P Priya 3 weeks ago
Definitely. Towards the end of the year and early Q1, when everyone's finalizing budgets, is when I've heard of companies getting better deals. Just be ready to negotiate.

is it worth it for a small startup to use ZoomInfo or is it really only for huge companies?

T Tara Ito 3 weeks ago
They actually have a startup program with discounts! You should look into that, could make it way more affordable.
